Working For a Better Community
Heart of the Community prides itself in listening to the community to enable us
to engage with them in a meaningful way.
Through community engagement relieving the symptoms of social isolation has emerged
as being just as important as food.
​
Our primary aim is to be a non-anxious presence when engaging with the community,
offering support in all aspects of life, and providing a drop-in centre for all ages, backgrounds, or abilities.
​
This service would not be possible without our daily volunteers who give up their time free of charge.
With the help of these valuable volunteers, we find it a privilege to serve the community the way we do and all our volunteers feel honoured to give their time to give something back to the community in all of the activities we offer.
